Terms of Service
Last updated: 19 October 2026
By accessing or using Scanosphere, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before using the platform.
1. What Scanosphere Is
Scanosphere is an online screening product that provides technical screening and information tools, with fundamental screening for some markets. It surfaces stocks, ETFs and other instruments that match defined technical or fundamental criteria. Scanosphere is a screening product — it is not investment advice. It is not a broker, exchange, or marketplace, and it does not execute, facilitate, or hold any financial transactions on behalf of its users.
2. Not Investment Advice
- Scanosphere provides information and screening tools only.
- It does not recommend, endorse, or advise buying, selling, or holding any security, crypto asset, or other instrument.
- It is not a SEBI-registered investment adviser or research analyst.
- Nothing on this platform constitutes investment, financial, legal, or tax advice.
- All screening output is for informational purposes only.
- You make your own independent decisions and bear sole responsibility and risk for any trading or investment actions you take.
- You should consult a SEBI-registered investment adviser before making any investment decisions.
3. Data Accuracy & Computed Values
Market data displayed on Scanosphere is sourced from third parties. Data for US-listed securities and other global instruments is provided by Twelve Data, and data for Indian securities listed on BSE is obtained from a BSE-authorised data vendor. This data may be delayed, incomplete, or contain errors, and is not guaranteed to be accurate or timely. We do not independently verify the data we receive, and we do not control its accuracy or completeness.
Much of what Scanosphere displays is computed by us from that data — including relative strength ratings, market breadth figures, sector and industry rotation measures, and the output of every scanner. These are derived values produced by automated calculation. They are not statements of fact about any company, and errors or gaps in the underlying data carry through into them.
Some historical figures are reconstructed rather than recorded. Where a value is computed for a past date using the set of stocks we track today, it will not always match what the same calculation would have produced on that date. Such figures are useful for observing trends and should not be treated as a record of what was shown at the time.
Where we are not confident in a value, we prefer to display nothing rather than display something misleading. An empty field means the value is unavailable — it does not mean zero, and it does not mean the underlying event did not occur.
Scanosphere is not liable for any decisions made on the basis of this data or of any value computed from it.
4. Eligibility & Accounts
Scanosphere is meant for adults (18 or older). By using it, you confirm that you are. You must provide accurate and complete registration information, including your location where we ask for it, and keep it up to date. You can register with an email address and password or, where offered, sign in with a Google account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials, including the Google account you sign in with, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Only one account per person is permitted. Scanosphere may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
5. Acceptable Use
Scanosphere, its screening logic, its computed outputs, its interface, and its name and branding are the property of Shrimant Ventures Private Limited and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark law. Your subscription grants you access to use the service. It does not transfer ownership of any part of it.
You agree that you will not:
- Scrape, copy, resell, redistribute, sublicense, or publicly share the platform's data or screening output.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the underlying logic or algorithms of the platform.
- Use automated means (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access the service beyond normal intended use.
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
- Use the platform, its data, or its output to build, train, or operate a competing product or service.
6. Free Trial, Plans & Billing
Free trial. A new account starts with a free trial with full access. You do not need to give any payment details to start it. The length of your trial is shown in the app. Only one free trial is available per person.
Paid plans. Scanosphere is a paid service: when your trial ends, you need a paid plan to keep using it. Plans differ by the markets they cover. The current plans, their prices and what each one includes are shown before you buy. Any access we provide without a paid plan is at our discretion and may be reduced, changed, or withdrawn at any time without notice.
Prices and taxes. For customers in India, prices are in Indian rupees and GST is added at the applicable rate. GST is charged according to the state you select at checkout as your place of supply, and the full amount you will pay, including GST, is shown before you pay.
Billing and renewal. Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly, in advance, through Razorpay, our payment processor, using the payment method you authorise (such as a card or UPI AutoPay). A subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period, at the plan's regular price, until you cancel it.
Subscribing during a trial. If you subscribe while a trial or other access is still running, the checkout shows when you will be charged and when your plan starts. From the time your plan starts, you have that plan's access, which may cover fewer markets than the trial. If a discount applies to your first payment, you pay for your first period straight away, your plan starts at once, and the trial days you had left are added to that first period. To verify your payment method, a small temporary amount may be authorised on it; it is released or refunded automatically.
Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, your access continues for a short grace period and then pauses. Razorpay retries the payment automatically over the next few days, and your access returns if a retry succeeds. If every retry fails, you can cancel and subscribe again from the Subscription & billing page, or contact us for help.
Price changes. We may change our prices from time to time. A new price applies to new subscriptions only: an active subscription keeps the regular price it started at for as long as it stays active, with GST at the rate in force when each payment is made. If your subscription is cancelled or ends, a later subscription is charged at the price current at that time.
Discounts. A referral or promotional discount applies only as shown at checkout. Unless the checkout says otherwise, a discount applies to the first payment only, cannot be combined with another discount, and has no cash value.
Changing plans. Where the app offers a way to change your plan, you can use it; otherwise, contact us for help.
Cancellation and refunds. You can cancel at any time. For cancellation and refund terms, please refer to our Refund Policy.
Changes to plan features. The features available on each plan may change over time. We will give notice through the platform or by email before any change that materially reduces the features of a paid plan you are subscribed to.
7. Limitation of Liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" with no warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Scanosphere and Shrimant Ventures Private Limited are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including but not limited to trading or investment losses, loss of data, or loss of profits — arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the service is limited to the total amount you paid us in the twelve months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
8. Third-Party Links
Scanosphere may contain links to third-party websites. We do not control these sites, have not reviewed their contents, and are not responsible for them. The presence of a link does not imply endorsement. Visiting a linked site is at your own risk and subject to that site's own terms and policies.
9. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Shrimant Ventures Private Limited and Scanosphere, including their officers, employees, and affiliates, from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service or your violation of these Terms.
10. Changes to These Terms
Scanosphere may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the platform or by email. Your continued use of the service after an update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at the location of the registered office of Shrimant Ventures Private Limited.
